ARSC's Hydra Fuel Cell subsidiary has developed a high volume, mass producible hydrogen fuel cell. Its American Hydrogen Corp. subsidiary is developing an inexpensive method to produce hydrogen from ammonia.

Ballard's focus is on further enhancing product performance, reducing costs, designing market-viable products, developing additional volume-manufacturing capabilities, and continuing to build customer and supplier relationships. Ballard is partnering with strong, world-leading companies, including DaimlerChrysler, Ford, EBARA, ALSTOM and FirstEnergy, to commercialize Ballard® fuel cells. Ballard has supplied fuel cells to Honda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Yamaha and Cinergy, among others.
